Sixth Grade Conservation Day
The annual 6th Grade Conservation Field Day was held on September 27, 2011 at Forestville State Park. Approximately 180 sixth grade students from Kingsland, Fillmore Central, Rushford-Peterson, and Mabel-Canton schools attended.

This annual event is coordinated by Rick Grooters, a technician with the SWCD. Other staff that assisted with the event were Dean Thomas, Anne Koliha, Jeanette Serfling, and Steve Erickson (NRCS staff).
