Forestry Field Day

Learn about incorporating several different Forestry management techniques that have a big impact on resource conservation and land productivity.

A light supper is typically provided.  The location changes annually so different management practices can be introduced.  Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.  Please prepare for bugs/ticks.

Prairie Walk

A prairie walk is held annually at different sites in Fillmore County.  Participants explore the prairie, discuss management practices and id plants of the prairie.

The event is typically held late August-September.  If you have any ideas of where to hold future Prairie Walks please contact Nikki Wheeler at 507-887-0240 or by E-Mail
